In reply to Robertson's letter of 6 Apr Winstanley mentions in letter of 9 Apr 1983 that he has entered "Pterodactyl" in a short story competion held by Stand magazine and a few biographical notes are included. Letter of 20 April refers to world rights and says he will withdraw the story from the Stand competition. Letters of 26 May 1983 and 1 Jun 1983 refer to an alteration in "Pterodactyl".
