Note: Pasted in at back of Ratcliffe's "Gypsy Dorelia", (1932). Apologises for not having sent back "Gypsy Dorelia" sooner. She has read the play with great interest and is returning it now with a few notes, which she asks the author to disregard where they are not helpful.

Asks her to send one or two of the enclosed copies of the Carnelian Seal plate to the Curator of Istamboul Museum and the Librarian of Algiers University, etc. States that Mr Davidson Cook's two articles on the Roundhay Hall MS relating to "The Gypsy Laddie" will follow as soon as she receives them.

Note: It would be useful if Mr Davidson Cook could write for the J.G.L.S. a brief summary of Patrick Chalmers' poem in the Brotherton MS. Has she noticed the reference to the Brotherton Library and bequest in the T.L.S. of the day before? The Editor had offered to write to the Curators of the Constantinople Museum about the Carnelian Seal.
