Brotherton Library

See the spectacular round reading room, the wood-panelled original Brotherton Room and the modern study space in the West Building.

The Brotherton's round, domed reading room was modelled on that of the British Museum but, with Yorkshire bravura, a slightly increased diameter ensured that it was larger than the southern original.
