It’s time to switch to EndNote 21
Reference management tool, EndNote, has a new update. Here’s how it might affect you and how to find the latest version.
EndNote’s newest update, EndNote 21, is now available via AppsAnywhere for Windows and Mac users. This will replace the previous versions of EndNote, (20.2.1 and 20.3). These will be removed from AppsAnywhere at the end of January and February, respectively.
EndNote 21’s new features include customisable tags for references and better data recovery options if your EndNote library ever gets damaged or deleted.
Rest assured; you will not lose any data when switching to the new version as EndNote 21 is fully compatible with EndNote 20 libraries. If you are experiencing any syncing issues while using EndNote 20, this will be resolved by switching to the new update.
If you are new to using EndNote, guidance is available on the Library’s EndNote webpages. If you experience any problems installing EndNote or using AppsAnywhere, please open a support ticket on the IT Services website.
