Beat the queue with Sentry

New app gives you easy access to the Libraries when you need it.

Getting into your Libraries is now easier than ever. Sentry lets you scan into any of our libraries using just your device and it’s available to download from the Apple Store and Google Play.

All you need to do is log in to the app using your University of Leeds username (the first part of your email) and password, and it will generate a barcode you can use to get through the turnstiles.

If you don’t have the app, your student card can still get you into the libraries. If you don’t have your student card, use your university credentials to collect a day ticket from the Apollo machines.

You will still need your student login details to get onto PCs or to use printers, and the easiest way to access printers is to swipe your student card. You will also need your student card to use laptop lockers or the self-issue machine. But with Sentry, you can still get into the libraries when your student card is lost or missing in the depths of your bag without having to queue for a day ticket.

If you want to know about more facilities and resources in your Libraries you can join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram.
