From Soviet Spies to Swallows & Amazons: the secret life of Arthur Ransome

Discover the fascinating life of Arthur Ransome, whose papers are held by the University, with help from Simon Popple, Deputy Head of the Institute of Communications Studies and Gary Lyons, Lecturer in Writing for Performance and Performance Production.

Working with Leeds University Library's Special Collections and Leeds Central Library, join us in a series of 'one object, one hour' talks. Presented by people who work with the collections, these talks reveal some of the remarkable objects that make up our cultural heritage, made available not just for the University, but for the benefit of everyone.

Events are free. Please book to reserve your place.
