Join us at a publisher roadshow in the library on Wednesday 15 October

Please join Leeds University Library at an Open Access Publishing Roadshow for the Humanities on Wednesday 15 October at 1pm.

Hear from two eminent speakers from the publishing industry: Frances Pinter of Manchester University Press and Knowledge Unlatched, and Brian Hole from Ubiquity Press. A local researcher's view of open access publishing will add an author perspective.

The event will be a chance to:

  • discuss the practicalities of publishing your work in both open access monographs and journals
  • hear about the potential benefits of open access to the scholarly research process and research impact and dissemination
  • ask questions of industry experts
  • meet open access publishers.

Time: 1-2.30pm. Presentations will be given from 1.15-2pm, but please drop in at anytime
Venue: Edward Boyle Library conference room, University of Leeds, Leeds, LS2 9JT.
