All the services the Library offers researchers brought together.

The new Researcher@Library webpages have improved navigation and content. This includes up-to-date information on open access and the next HEFCE REF requirements, research data management (including the EPSRC data expectations), bibliometrics and PhD support.

Included in the help and advice you'll find on the new webpages are:

  • Open access: funder and University requirements for publications, REF, funding available for article processing charges
  • Research data management: funder requirements, data management planning advice and help with managing your data
  • PhD support: information about the Library for new PhDs, how to upload your thesis to White Rose Etheses Online and Library workshops for PhD students.
  • Literature searching: guidance on developing search strategies and applying different search techniques, links to key databases for your subject and using EndNote to manage your references
  • Bibliometrics: how to measure the impact of your research using a variety of different metric tools, altmetrics and useful tips on increasing citations.

You'll also find a summary called "5 key things" which introduces the main themes in each of the above sections, links to relevant contact details and information on training and development opportunities.

Thank you to all the staff and students who helped us to develop the new site.

Have a look at the Researcher@Library webpages and feel free to send us any feedback.
