Profile
I joined the team in 2022 following a career spanning academic research, teaching, and instructional design. My PhD research looked at colonial narratives around 21st century gentrification in the US city of Detroit, and I have taught students across social sciences and humanities disciplines with a focus on cities, gender, environmental justice and racism, as well as ethnographic research methods.
As a Digital Learning Advisor I support students to develop their digital skills and capabilities, offering support through the Learning Development Team’s co-curricular programme (Skills@Library), our email query service and the library makerspace, as well as embedded support on programmes within schools.
I am also Faculty Liaison for Arts, Humanities and Cultures, Social Sciences and (jointly) Leeds Business Schools, working with module leads and Directors of Student Education to provide tailored support for their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through embedded workshops and curated online learning resources.
