Kate Branton

Profile

After graduating from Lancaster University in July 2022, I began working as a Sales Assistant in Leeds City Centre at Lush Spa Leeds. Since February 2023, I have managed items in the University of Leeds’ open access repository, White Rose Research Online (WRRO), as a Research Services Assistant. This role has given me lots of experience creating metadata, working with a wide range of copyright licenses and archiving policies, and responding to a variety of customer requests. I believe it is important for everyone to have immediate access to information without financial barriers, and I enjoy being a part of making this possible.
