Profile
I developed an interest in Open Research, having worked as an Open Research Assistant in Aston University, where I managed the University’s repository and CRIS (PURE and Eprints), promoted good open research practices through established Open Research focused events, and was responsible for the administration of the block grant spend and its records, providing expert advice on the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Policy, the Aston University Interim Open Access Policy, and signposting for data management. With my experience, I bring to my role as an Open Research Adviser my enthusiasm for fair, collaborative and reproducible research practices. In collaboration with the Directors of Research and Innovation, the UK Reproducibility Network (UKRN), Researchers and staff members across Professional Services, I aim to properly embed Open Research practices across the University in discipline specific ways.
