As a Research Services Assistant I manage the publications deposited into the institutional open access repository (WRRO), creating metadata and checking copyright restrictions before making outputs publicly available. Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and updating publication metadata in Symplectic Elements and White Rose Research Online repository (WRRO).

  • Updating metadata of theses in White Rose Etheses Online repository (WREO) and liaising with the Doctoral College.

  • Triaging and resolving email queries via Research, Library Deposit, and E-theses inboxes.

  • Supporting Leeds University Rights Retention and Data Access policies.

  • Providing support to the administration and running of Researcher Skills Workshops.

  • Member of the Space Squad, looking at improving the physical library space provision for Postgraduates and Staff.

  • Member of Symplectic/WRRO Operational Group.
