Profile
As a Museum and Galleries learning and engagement professional since 2008, I am committed to socially engaged practice. I am experienced working in a range of gallery and heritage settings both in Norfolk and West Yorkshire with a specialism in Fine Art specifically sculpture.
I joined the Cultural Collections and Galleries team in 2012 and have led a three year deep engagement project with primary school children (Footsteps into Art) and more recently with students. My current work primarily focuses on co-producing engagement projects with student interns from the University of Leeds. I play an active part in Cultural Collections and Galleries Welcoming Migrants work primarily supporting student volunteers and interns to provide engagement activities for this community.
Alongside my Learning Coordinator role, I am a Staff Sustainablity Architect and curated Envisioning Tomorrow: Climate Stories from the Art Collection. I am also on the organising committee for the Cultural Shift - Student Innovation Competition.
