We aim to respond to emails within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Response times may vary on weekends, depending on which team you are contacting.

Webchat
We aim for our webchat to be active from 9am–7pm weekdays, and 10am–7pm on weekends.
When our webchat is active, ask us a question by clicking ‘Chat now’ in the top menu. Enter your details and query into the pop-up window. We aim to respond by chat within a minute.
When our webchat is not active, you can ask us a question by clicking ‘Enquire now’ in the top menu. Enter your details and query into the pop-up window. We aim to respond by email within 48 hours.

Learning Development team (Skills@Library)
The Learning Development team provides the Skills@Library service for taught students at the University of Leeds as well as support for academic and teaching staff. They will answer queries, comments or suggestions from taught students and staff.

The Research Services team will answer queries, comments or suggestions from staff and postgraduate researchers.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we’ve dealt with a query or concern let us know. If we can’t resolve your complaint immediately, we will escalate it to a senior manager. They will consider your complaint and respond to you directly within 10 working days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can submit a complaint through the University’s student complaints process.
