Commendation for Library staff member Beth Parry

Beth's quick thinking helped a student avoid serious injury

One of our Customer Services team was presented with a Special Commendation at the Vice Chancellor's Awards for Health & Safety 2017.

Beth Parry, Customer Services Manager at the Brotherton Library, was given the commendation for her quick thinking after a student fell and injured themselves in the Library. Beth's calm handling of the situation helped prevent life-changing injuries.
