Last orders for click-and-collect before Christmas
Best before dates to make sure you get the books you need before the Christmas break.
We’re seeing increased demand for click and collect in the run up to the end of term. This means that there’s a slightly longer wait than usual between ordering and collecting items. We’ve compiled dates for you so you can make sure you get all of the material you need before Christmas.
If you’re a student leaving Leeds between 3 and 9 December, request your items through Library Search as soon as possible to ensure your items are ready to collect before you leave. If you request items on or before the 3 December they will be ready to collect by 9 December.
We always do our best to retrieve items as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee that items ordered after the 3 December will be ready to collect by the 9 December.
Requests for click and collect will close on 13 December. The last date you can collect items from the Edward Boyle Library is on 20 December. Click and collect will return in the new year.

Recalls will be turned off from 30 November until 4 January so there’s no need to worry about receiving any return requests over the vacation period. Any on-loan items will continue to automatically renew over Christmas. Just be sure to bring any books back in the new year.
For those of you staying in Leeds over the Christmas vacation, the Laidlaw Library will be open for bookable study space.
