The Learning Development Team
The Library's Learning Services Team has been renamed the Learning Development Team.
The name Learning Development Team better reflects their expertise and role in supporting the development of students' academic and digital literacies within programmes across the University.
The team will work alongside colleagues to design and deliver academic literacies development within modules or degree programmes, as well as providing teaching resources that you can embed in your Minerva module area or use in your teaching.
During the last academic year 2020/21, the Learning Development Team:
- delivered over 700 hours of embedded teaching across 38 schools and departments
- provided online resources and expertise to support the work of other professional services
- contributed to a wide range of institutional student education projects.
The team also provide the award-winning, co-curricular Skills@Library service for taught students.
Please contact the learning advisor responsible for your school for more information on how the Learning Development Team can support your students and your teaching.
