OA publishing survey

Help us to improve how we help you publish open access books and journals through our White Rose University Press.

As an open access digital publisher, White Rose University Press (WRUP) is committed to supporting open scholarship. WRUP would like to offer more publishing opportunities to authors within its home institutions of Leeds, Sheffield and York.

To understand how to serve the academic community better, WRUP are running a short survey for academic staff.

Take the WRUP survey

The survey takes between 15 to 20 minutes to complete. You don’t need to know anything about or have published using an open access press; your views and experiences will be valued and of great help to inform how WRUP can support authors in the future.

About White Rose University Press

White Rose University Press supports open access publication of monographs, teaching resources and textbooks, journals, conference proceedings, short-form monographs, and data journals, and are always open to proposals in other publishing formats. Their subject scope reflects a broad range of disciplines including arts and humanities, social sciences, science and technology, engineering, health sciences, and medicine. Proposals are welcome from across the academic community, not just from academics within White Rose institutions.

As a small press WRUP offers a very personal service, taking care to support authors and editors. They work closely with authors during the development and production stages, and in marketing and raising awareness of publications.

One of the main benefits of open access is that this content is available to all, regardless of location, status or economic situation. It expands the potential audience beyond those who have access to expensive academic resources, meaning that practitioners and policy makers can be informed by current scholarship.
