The Lean Library extension helps you to find material faster and easier than ever.

The Lean Library browser extension provides free, quick and easy access to library-subscribed resources wherever and whenever you study.

All you need to do is install the Lean Library extension on your preferred web browser and select your institution. You can then search our library catalogue from any webpage, without needing to navigate to Library Search. That means the ability to search the entire library catalogue is only a few clicks away, wherever you are on the web.

Lean Library also streamlines the authentication process for accessing articles and ebooks while off-campus or not connected to the University network, so you won’t have to log in and choose your institution every time.

When searching online, Lean Library will present you with print and digital texts available from the Libraries with a handy notification.  So, you’ll spend less time searching for research materials and more time focusing on your studies.

You can also generate citations for articles or ebooks simply by clicking the "Get Citation" button.

If Lean Library cannot find the resource in the Libraries’ collection, it connects you to open access alternatives. This gives you additional access to millions of articles and thousands of ebooks.
