Publishing Prize supporting information

As a supervisor, you may wish to encourage a former student to make an application. Or a student may contact you to support their application.

What work is needed on my part?

The submitting author may get in touch to ask your opinion on whether this prize would be a good option for them. If you have any questions about the prize, the process or about White Rose University Press as a potential publisher, please email ecpublishingprize@leeds.ac.uk. 

The author may also ask you to complete the section of the application form that needs academic support for their submission, as this is a requirement.

Is the prize right for your student?

Please read our author information, to understand the author’s commitments of applying and the work involved in being a prize winner. Entering the prize commits the author to engage with all these elements.

If they are not comfortable with any of the elements of the prize, they should discuss their concerns or ask any questions before submitting by emailing ecpublishingprize@leeds.ac.uk.
