Device docking stations now in Brotherton Library

Plug in and power up your laptop with a large monitor, keyboard and mouse.

There are 16 new docking stations in the Brotherton Library West Building computer cluster, part of a trial of different computing and study provision.

Expand your world with a large monitor, which increases productivity for visual work such as data analysis and media editing. See more with an additional screen so it’s easier to compare data and make notes from your reading. Enjoy the ergonomic comfort and let a keyboard and mouse take the strain while you study long hours.

This “Bring Your Own Devices” pilot project is testing out different ways to provide IT-enabled study space, to inform how we develop our study spaces across campus. There will also be a second set of docking stations in the Bragg Building as part of the trial project, which is likely to run for a year.
