The Edward Boyle Library is open 24 hours a day, everyday.
Holiday opening hours: The Edward Boyle Library will close at midnight on Tuesday 23 December and reopen on Monday 5 January.

45 minutes before closing time, level 8 closes. Staff start closing the library from level 13, working down to level 9.
15 minutes before closing time, the teaching computer clusters close.

Study space
There are silent study areas on every level except level 9 (ground floor) and levels 11 and 12 are completely for individual silent study. Level 8 is an online learning space where you can attend online lectures and talk wearing headphones. There are group study areas on level 9 and 10. Level 13 is for postgraduates and research staff, and has a mix of silent and group spaces.

There is a bookable Online Meeting Room for undergraduates on level 9. This is specifically for taking online interviews. You can book this space for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of two hours. You can only book one session a day.
Drinks with lids are allowed in the library. Please consume other food and drink outside or in the Edit Room café.
If you leave the library for more than 30 minutes, please take your belongings with you.
