More
Minutes are the written record of a meeting. When bound together, they are called minute books. Minutes usually include a list of attendees, a description of issues considered and any decisions made during the meeting. Minute books exist for all types of organisation, from large businesses to small committees. Researchers can use them to understand the actions and context of organisations throughout history.
Minute books may be the only remaining record of an organisation, and so very useful for research. They may also contain information on individuals, sometimes including personal testimony.
