See What can I borrow?
With all types of membership, you are guaranteed to have the item for two weeks, after which time it may be recalled if another user has requested it.

How do I borrow?

You will need your membership card (your student or staff card, or a ticket we give you).

If the item has a barcode label:
Take it and your membership card to the Self Issue units and check it out yourself.
If you experience problems, speak to staff at the enquiry desk. If it is outside of staffed hours, check our self-service webpage for help.

If the item does not have a barcode label:
Take it and your membership card to the enquiry desk. We will add a barcode to the item or ask you to complete an issue slip so that it can be checked out to you.
