Arise Evans (1607–after 1660) was a self-proclaimed prophet. He at first served at the court of King Charles I, and then at Cromwell's court.
His visions had a strongly biblical flavour. In Light for the Jews (Strong Room Engl. 8vo 1656 EVA) he takes up Menasseh's apocalyptic ideas, and uses them to argue for missionary purposes, to convert the Jews to Christianity.
