This is Menasseh's complete Hebrew Bible (Roth Collection 104), with a fine engraved title page. It is not arranged for liturgical use.
In 1639, the year this was published, Menasseh joined the college of rabbis of the newly united Sephardi community. He was expected to give up printing.
Johannes Jansonnius (1588–1661), the Christian publisher who financed this book with a clear eye on the growing Polish market, also printed five Hebrew books on his own account.
