Use DMPonline
DMPonline is a free tool that will help you to write, share and export a data management plan. It offers built-in data management plan templates for many major funders.
You can use it to share your plan with others, co-author a plan, and output text in several different formats.

The following plans are for illustration only:
AHRC: The Professional Career and Output of Trevor Jones (PDF) (technical plan for a large project that involved digitising an archive of film music)
