Workshop programme 2017/18 semester 1


Skills@Library runs a workshop programme, covering various themes including exam preparation and the processes involved in producing a research project.

Our workshops are friendly, interactive and informative, and are available at various times, including some early evening sessions. If a workshop is fully booked, add your name to a waiting list by booking onto the relevant title. We will then contact you should a place become available.

Throughout the semester we will be running short, technique-based sessions over the lunch period. These sessions are available to all taught students who want to learn practical methods to develop their academic skills.

Need to cancel a booking?


Simply email us with your details and the workshop you would like to cancel a booking for and we will confirm by return email. Alternatively you can also call us on 0113 3434096 or pop into the Skills@Library Office on Level 1 of the Laidlaw Library.

Please note: you must cancel your booking in advance of the session (1 working day prior) to avoid being issued with a £6 charge for non-attendance.
