Help in person for taught students

Discussions with a Learning Advisor will be treated in confidence.

Sometimes it may be in your best interests for us to exchange information with others. This may be to demonstrate that you have been seeking help and advice, or to ensure that the advice given is consistent. We will discuss this with you and get your full agreement before taking any action.

We keep data based on your session for statistical and report-writing purposes, in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Individual students are never identified in these reports.

We keep records based on your session for up to five years. These records help us to provide continuity of support to students who may see different advisors.
