Proficiency and productivity

Digital productivity

Digital productivity is how you use your digital skills to get things done, in your studies and elsewhere in your life.

Being a productive learner involves using university systems and tools (such as Minerva or the UniLeeds app) alongside your personal devices and preferred apps and software to create your own effective digital environment for learning.

Reflect on your digital proficiency by asking yourself:

  • Do I choose the right devices, applications, software and systems for the task?
  • Can I adapt these tools to my own needs?
  • How do I manage complex digital tasks and cope with distraction and overload?
